About the Role
The Therapeutic Treatment Home Program Manager for Residential Youth Care (RYC) plays a pivotal role in supporting both foster care families and youth in residential treatment programs. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, organized, curious, and committed to upholding high ethical standards. This role requires an individual who understands therapeutic boundaries, excels in time management, and has the ability to effectively implement the Teaching Family Model (training available). The Therapeutic Treatment Home Program Manager will work closely with foster families, ensuring they receive the support they need while also ensuring that activities align with licensing and regulatory standards, and that accreditation and state requirements are consistently met. The Manager will grow RYC’s Treatment Home program and develop outreach, training, and support programs to build and sustain RYC provider care.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Family Support & Respite Care Facilitation: Assist foster care clients and families, including coordinating client placements, home visits, meetings, and facilitating respite care services to ensure a comprehensive support system for families and youth.
Youth Engagement & Support: Engage with youth, providing needed emotional and therapeutic support, including involvement in the development and implementation of individual treatment plans and goals.
Teaching Family Model Implementation: Facilitate the use of the Teaching Family Model in foster care settings, ensuring the model's principles are consistently applied to support youth development. (Training in the Teaching Family Model will be provided)
Licensing & Regulation Alignment: Maintain and update all required paperwork and documentation in accordance with licensing regulations, including Foster Care applications, renewals, site visits, and client placements. Ensure strict adherence to federal and state regulations, agency policies, and accreditation standards.
Documentation & Quality Assurance: Oversee the quality assurance of Foster Care family licensing services, including reviewing daily notes and ensuring documentation meets all relevant standards for licensing, auditing, and accreditation.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required
21 years of age or older.
Valid Alaska Drivers License
Basic knowledge of office equipment and computers, including word processing and email
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
Experience working with Youth and/ or Behavioral Health

Shift: Varies
Pay Rate: $55,000-75,000/yr DOE
