Behavioral Health Clinician (Hybrid Telehealth)
Job Type
Full Time, Exempt
About the Role
Based in Anchorage, Alaska (Remote to Start)
Join a team that's expanding access to behavioral health care for youth and families across Alaska.
Resilient Youth & Community is seeking licensed or license-eligible behavioral health clinicians to provide individual and family therapy to youth and families receiving services through our continuum of care in Southeast Alaska. This position is based in Anchorage and will begin as a work-from-home role while we establish our Anchorage office, anticipated to open within the next year.
This is more than a traditional telehealth position. While much of your clinical work will be provided remotely, you'll become part of an integrated treatment team serving youth in residential treatment, community-based behavioral health services, and family support programs.
Why This Role Matters
Youth and families in rural Alaska often face long wait times, extensive travel, and limited access to specialty behavioral health services. Our hybrid care model combines the accessibility of telehealth with intentional in-person connection, allowing clinicians to build meaningful relationships while expanding access to high-quality care across the state.
What You'll Do
Provide individual, family, and behavioral health therapy through a hybrid telehealth model.
Collaborate with psychiatrists, case managers, residential staff, peer support specialists, and other clinicians to coordinate care.
Participate in treatment planning, clinical consultation, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
Build strong therapeutic relationships with youth and families throughout their treatment journey.
As our Anchorage office grows, clinicians will also:
Provide in-person therapy when appropriate.
Complete behavioral health assessments and intake evaluations.
Support youth and families during admissions, transitions, and discharge planning.
Help strengthen continuity of care for youth traveling between Anchorage and Southeast Alaska.
Travel
Clinicians will travel to Ketchikan approximately 3-4 times per year for several days at a time to:
Meet youth and families in person.
Strengthen therapeutic relationships established through telehealth.
Participate in team collaboration and training.
Support clinical assessments, treatment planning, and program coordination.
We believe that combining telehealth with intentional in-person engagement creates stronger relationships and better outcomes for youth and families.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking clinicians who:
Value relationship-based, trauma-informed care.
Enjoy collaborating within multidisciplinary teams.
Are comfortable providing services through both telehealth and in-person settings.
Appreciate the opportunity to help build an innovative model of behavioral health care for Alaska's youth.
