Residential Youth Care, Inc. is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Clinical Director. The position oversees clinical operations, staff management, regulatory compliance, and manages and maintains clinical service systems within the agency. The Clinical Director ensures quality behavioral health services, develops policies, maintains accurate records, facilitates efficient and effective service delivery, oversees client progress and treatment, participates in staff training and development, and represents the agency in the community and with other agencies as part of the senior management of RYC. Their leadership drives improvement and supports the organization’s success.

Annual Pay: $100,000-135,000/year DOE

Primary Objectives:
- Devise strategies and plans for the clinical department according to company standards for excellent service and growth
- Oversee responsibility of department budgeting and resourcing
- Plan and oversee patient clinical care
- Collaborate with other departments
- Assign cases and create schedules for employees
- Coordinate and supervise staff providing constructive feedback
- Supervise and develop staff for successful licensure completion
- Provide personnel with clinical training and opportunities for continuous development
- Evaluate performance and discipline employees when necessary
- Monitor compliance to legal guidelines, internal policies and quality standards
- Confer with authorities or community groups
- Work with other departmental heads to coordinate activities
- Develop management control systems
- Establish and maintain relationships with community organizations
- Facilitate department, clinical, and treatment team meetings
Job Requirements:
- Either Doctorate Degree with 4 years’ experience or Master’s Degree with 6 years’ experience working in a social service setting
- Valid Alaska Driver’s License
- Computer proficiency and familiarity with electronic health records preferred
- Ability to pass a pre-employment UA and background check
- Must be Licensed and able to provide supervision in the State of Alaska
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven leadership
- Experience in Residential Behavioral Health Treatment preferred
- Must be able to obtain First Aid/CPR and MANDT certification following hire
