Behavioral Health Associate - Residential Program, Day and Night Shift Positions Available
The Behavioral Health Associate in the Residential Program is responsible for working with clients in a residential setting to facilitate client growth towards treatment plan goals. The successful candidate for this position must be able to role model positive social skills and appropriate, healthy behaviors on a consistent basis, even in high-stress situations.
Major Areas of Responsibility:
Primary Objectives:
• To facilitate client growth towards treatment goals over time
• To work with Program Supervisors, Case Managers, and other treatment team members to facilitate treatment plans for all clients
• Meet the expectations of the Alaska Core Competencies by receiving consistent feedback from supervision staff
Job Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED
• 21 years of age+
• Valid Alaska Drivers License and clean driving record
• Basic knowledge of office equipment and computers, including word processing and email
• Must be able to obtain First Aid/CPR and MANDT certification following hire
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
• Experience in Behavioral Health, Social Services, or working with Youth (preferred)
Job Type: Full Time, Non-Exempt
Hours Per Week: 48, shifts include 32 hours of regular time and 16 hours of overtime per week.
Day Shift: 8am-8pm
$14-18/hr DOE
$14.00- $18.00 Reg Hr
$21.00-$27.00 OT rate
$784.00-$1,008.00 weekly approx
$3,397.33-$4,368 monthly approx
$40,768.00-$52,416 annually approx
Night Shift 8pm-8am
$15-19/ hr DOE
$15.00-$19.00 Reg Hr
$22.50-$28.50 OT rate
$840.00-$1,064.00 weekly approx
$3,640-$4,610.67 monthly approx
$43,680-$55,328 annually approx

- Ensuring the safety and security of clients
- Supporting clients during day-to-day activities in multiple settings, using therapeutic interventions and the Teaching Family Model
- Completing daily progress notes, weekly progress reports, and monthly progress reports on clients in the home
- Working in tandem with other organizations/individuals including Probation Officers, Social Workers, parents, and Mental Health Clinicians to meet the needs of clients
