SeaLevel Project Developer
Community partners are working together to design a community youth center which will deliver services and support in a coordinated and collaborative way. We envision a safe, welcoming space for youth (ages 15-21) where they will be provided with connections to a network of
support services, youth programming, and caring adults. We plan to call the center: SeaLevel. Under the direction of the RYC CEO, the SeaLevel Project Developer will be responsible for development of the SeaLevel Youth Center. The SeaLevel Project Developer will be responsible
for community engagement, raising capital funds, and identifying additional partnerships. The Project Developer will champion SeaLevel in the community and state. They will perform work related to the planning, development, and funding of this capital project. They will take the
SeaLevel project from conception to completion.

Major Areas of Responsibility Include:
- Work with the CEO and RYC staff on the SeaLevel project development.
- Prepare written report material including grant and financing applications.
- Organize critical community support. Make presentations before public bodies and community groups.
- Research and secure sources of pre-development, construction and permanent financing from public and private sources.
- Participate and advise on project design development; supervise preparation of project plans and specifications. Ensure attention given to special-users’ needs, RYC care standards, project budget, timelines, and lender/investor/regulatory requirements.
- Communication with stakeholders and partners
- Oversee SeaLevel project development including securing funds, garnering public support, and establishing community support partnerships.
- Work with the CEO and team members through the development stages of the SeaLevel Youth Center
- Organize and execute the capital campaign strategy
- Develop community and state partnerships to support the SeaLevel Youth Center
- Develop and execute funding strategies to develop the SeaLevel Youth Center
- Develop project communication strategies for stakeholders and funders
- Bachelors Degree preferred
- 21 years of age or older.
- Valid Alaska Drivers License
- Ability to pass a pre-employment UA and background check
- Must possess strong computer skills, have the ability to track data and produce reports
- Experience securing capital funding preferred
- Grant writing experience preferred
