Residential Supervisor
Residential Youth Care, Inc. (RYC) has been providing residential behavioral health services to Alaska's youth for more than 25 years. RYC operates based on a philosophy emphasizing a culture of care and the building of therapeutic relationships through the development of positive, supportive, and planned interventions delivered by knowledgeable, empathetic, and skilled staff. The Residential Supervisor is responsible for the ongoing management of the Residential program by overseeing, managing, and directing Front Line Staff Members to ensure all facets of program rules, policies, and goals are followed and met.

The Residential Supervisor is responsible for the ongoing management of the Residential program by overseeing, managing, and directing Front Line Staff Members to ensure all facets of program rules, policies, and goals are followed and met.
Major Areas of Responsibility Include:
- Work with the Residential Director and Front-Line Staff to ensure program integrity by implementing systems checks
- Support clients during day-to-day activities in multiple settings, using therapeutic interventions and the Teaching Family Model
- Work in tandem with other organizations/ individuals including Probation Officers, Social Workers, parents, and Mental Health Clinicians to meet the needs of clients
- Train and evaluate of Front-Line Staff Members
Primary Objectives:
- Facilitate client growth towards treatment goals over time
- Work with Residential Program Director, Case Managers, and other treatment team members to facilitate treatment plans for all clients
- Facilitate day to day support for the house staff and clients.
- Follow the Teaching Family Model by implementing consistent feedback from supervision staff
- Develop staff by utilizing the Teaching Family Model
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree (preferred)
- 21 years of age or older.
- Valid Alaska Drivers License
- Basic knowledge of office equipment and computers
- Ability to pass a pre employment UA and background check
- Experience in Human Services Field or Behavioral Health (preferred)
- Possess excellent communication skills
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Must be able to obtain First Aid/CPR and MANDT certification, facilitated by RYC, following hire
