Behavioral Health Associate - Residential Program
Day and Night Shift Positions Available
The Behavioral Health Associate in the Residential Program is responsible for working with clients in a residential setting to facilitate client growth towards treatment plan goals. The successful candidate for this position must be able to role model positive social skills and appropriate, healthy behaviors on a consistent basis, even in high stress situations.
Major Areas of Responsibility:
• Ensuring the safety and security of clients
• Supporting clients during day to day activities in multiple settings, using therapeutic interventions and the Teaching Family Model
• Completing daily progress notes, weekly progress reports, and monthly progress reports on clients in the home
• Working in tandem with other organizations/individuals including Probation Officers, Social Workers, parents, and Mental Health Clinicians to meet the needs of clients
Primary Objectives:
• To facilitate client growth towards treatment goals over time
• To work with Program Supervisors, Case Managers, and other treatment team members to facilitate treatment plans for all clients
• Meet the expectations of the Alaska Core Competencies by receiving consistent feedback from supervision staff
Job Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED
• 21 years of age+
• Valid Alaska Drivers License and clean driving record
• Basic knowledge of office equipment and computers, including word processing and email
• Must be able to obtain First Aid/CPR and MANDT certification following hire
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
• Experience in Human Services Field (preferred)
Job Type: Full Time, Non-Exempt
Hours Per Week: 48
Shift: Night 8pm-8am
Monthly Pay: $2669.33- $3640.00 DOE
